When the next version for java is releasing? Its the anniversary of the last update of opera mini for java. Lots of bugs have been reported. I think the time has come to release a new version with bugs fixed & added new features.
Otherwise tell me whether opera has stopped working on java , if by chance I have missed the news.
I am using opera mini on my nokia 5130 xpressmusic. I suffered following problems while using internet on opera. (1)When I use more than one sites each in separate tabs , most of the time the pages of other tabs are removed automatically writting "page removed to save memory". It happens even if I'm using only 2 tabs. Does it happen to all keypad phones or it is the problem of my phone only? (2)While I'm downloading something , if I dail an address at the time , I have to wait untill the download is complete. It alwalys happens though my internet speed is at 25 kbps. This is a bug in opera.
Does link work with Opera Mini on a Blackberry Torch 9800? When I try to link to my account it says there is something wrong with my network. But when I use the check network in settings it says it is ok. Michael
Hi, Today I installed the new version of Opera Mini in my new phone. But I was shocked when my old search engines didn't sync. My bookmarks & everything else synchronised but my search engines didn't sync. Has anyone else faced such problem & how to solve this problem?

I've been using Opera Classic on my Android phone and I want to say a couple of things.
First, Opera Classic is your best browser for mobile devices and you should continue to develop it. It makes browsing with one hand easy and it looks nice. The regular Opera browser looks lame and annoying, I find the design of Classic/Mini much better. It is clear, definitive and not overly-simplified. I have 2 suggestions though to improve the browser:

When I click the Opera icon and then Quit, the program asks whether I am sure and I have to click Yes or No. This isn't really necessary since Opera -> Quit already takes 2 clicks and is enough to guarantee there won't be any accidental exits.
No other complaints or suggestions. I hope you continue to develop the Classic/Mini browser for Android since your regular browser is quite frankly bad.
Please Add Multiple Thread (Multi Part) Connection downloading system in Opera Mini. Because Opera Mini's file downloading speed is too slow. While other browser (such UC Browser) has multi part file downloading system to Accelerate the file downloadong speed. Also add Auto-Refresh the downloading link it will fix the Download Resume problem.

If i download smaller 15MB file from operator site zero rated web sites then download is okey. But if is over 15MB file then Opera Mini can't download. If file is over 15MB file then Opera Mini create invalid link as like (http://mini5-1.opera-mini.net//wap.aloashbei.com.bd/example.apk) then opera mini can't download. Opera employee can you guys please check what happen with Opera Mini from Operator free web site. I think Opera Mini cant handle download url from operator free web site. If file is over 15MB files then opera mini can't download from zero rated web sites. Please fix this bug.
i am shocked seeing this, my website is mobile friendly (responsive), when i visit it from mobile from any mobile it fits my screen perfectly. But whenever i search in opera from iPhone, it do not indicates "Mobile friendly" in google. Hello when accessing a web window to connect to a wifi network hospital I have to enter a pass word given to me at the reception and although the problem is that the window is updated all the time with opera mini I do not know donation to introduce the password. can opera devs Please fix the very long standing bug "next page same page bug" this has been going on for nearly 10 years now or longer, it seems to be something with the Animation that is supposed to open the next page it stays on the last page that you was on (that or there is a connection fail to Opera mini server where the fail state is to show the last page you was on when you taped a link)
it has to be a very basic bug as if i Tap and hold and Open as New tab it always loads the next page (i believe the bug is at the Client end due to Open as New tab corrects the issue)
when you tap on a link or button to go to another page sometimes it fails to load the next page, the page does the reload animation but you just have the same page you was just on (you get the page animation that makes it load the next page but you still have the same contents)
once it starts happening you have to tap the link lots of times or force it to open as a new tab (tap and hold the link and open as new tab as a work around fixes as a work around but having to open every page as a New tab is poor work around) as websites are using HTTPs more now opera mini is the only way to compress pages on the limited data connection i am on, just its very annoying to use when i am posting stuff (full opera or Opera max is useless to me as most pages i use are HTTPs witch Opera services can't not compress easily)
i would like to help you opera on this bug as it happened on all phones i have had (the tweak that i think is needed is each page should open like a new tab in the same page, as tapping a link is not loading the page the same as opening the link as a new tab)
the Next page same page bug is still not fixed after 8 years
when you sometimes tap on a link 80% of the time the page does what it seems like is a page load but its just the same as before, this has been an issue for as long as i have used opera mini (including the new one now)
the only way you can force it to load the link that is tapped on is to Tap and Hold and open as new tab (as once its doing the loop showing same page it is permanently stuck on that page)
as Opera mini is very good at loading pages with very little data and strips all active scripts of a page so in turn makes battery life longer (as the page is static) and very good data savings
but have to say the Speed that Opera for android is very fast compared to Chrome
I use Opera Mini on my Nokia Asha 202. When I haven't clicked on anything for a few seconds, Opera Mini stops scrolling, but in all other cases Opera scrolls completely independently on my clicking, I can't find any relation between the two. Therefore it is virtually impossible to view the desired part of the website and it can only be achieved with a great deal of luck. How to change this? Or how to get another version of Opera Mini for Nokia Asha 202?
When I try to copy a URL from the address bar of Opera Mini on Android that application is closed, exactly when I press the screen to select text to copy. Then it shows me a message and outside the application saying : Opera Mini has stopped. I have installed Opera Mini 13.0.2036.98649 on Android 5.1.1 . Thanks.
How can I download my old opera link bookmarks? I just used opera today and found that mini updated and I cannot see my old opera link bookmarks. Some of those are important. How can I download them?
