I'm trying to sign in to Opera Mini on both my iPad and iPhone 6s. Whenever I try I get the following message on both devices:
Connection Error Cannot sync data. Try again later.
I've been trying for most of the day with no change. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
I'm using Opera in Windows 10 and my account is set up to synchronize.
Very basic Nokia but it supports opera However I cannot read further than page one of email inbox

Suddenly I have found that opera mini newer version is consuming more data yhan the previous version. I have enabled extreme data saving option although More ads are shown than previous time...this problem is not occuring in a single website..but all of the website. Any solution guys...

I just installed Opera Mini on my Iphone 5S so I could use less data. It is extremely slow and often I get message "Connection Failed" using turbo mode instead of mini helps some but is still unusable. When I use Chrome web pages load almost instantly.
When I started opera mini for Android today, all my feeds where gone! Where did they go? I have even tried to restore an old backup from titanium backup, but to no avail, my feeds are still gone...

This is the latest version I can load on my iPod Touch. Surely there is some way to import bookmarks. I have hundreds and the "Opera Sync" service has been discontinued. Are legacy users abandoned?

Whenever I tap on a video link that points at a YouTube address (and opens the (youtube) tab for watching it) the video itself is not being optimized/compressed. But if I copy and paste the address to the search bar the video is being optimized. What's up with this odd behavior? Using data savings on wifi, videoboost enabled
I have a Samsung Note 8 tablet running Android 4.4.2 I downloaded Opera Mini 18.0.2254.106542. This webpage ( http://www.opera.com/help/mini/other#privateBrowsing ) describes Tools/Settings/Private Browsing but I do not see it in my Opera Mini.
Is private browsing not supported? The webpage mentioned suggests that it should be available.

Its no longer possible to login on tumblr, it just returns to the login screen.

I have used this browser for years, and it remained over 1.8 Gb of documents and data in my phone. I had tried the option in the browser to clear all my caches and cookies and etc. , but it appears that there is still 1.7 Gb of data remain in opera mini. At yesterday I cannot open any link from Express-panel with use Opera Mini traffic mode (only in Opera Mini compression mode. for Opera Turbo traffic mode everything work properly for example)
When I click on any link in Express-panel I getting pop-up message "Could not connect to server. Error receiving from server" and immediately after next pop-up message: "Not support. Protocol used in intent://[myURL]#intent;scheme=http;package=com.opera.mini.native;end, not support"

Hi! I have java phones and use OperaMini Java 4.5 and 8. Log in Facebook, Google, Yandex, VK (https://m.vk.com - social net) always was successful. But now I renew OperaMini from official mini.opera.com. And login in on m.vk.com no longer works. OperaMini Java 4.5 shows capcha again and again. OperaMini Java 8 shows login+password page again and again.

Can anyone tell me what - in general terms - is the cause of the error "The page could not be opened."
I get this message several times a day, on a variety of websites, typically news sites, e.g. theguardian.com.
It happens after I have entered a URL and Opera Mini has spent 10+ seconds trying to load the page. I don't think it is a timeout error, because I can still get the error if I have changed the timeout value in the config: menu to a longer value e.g. 60 seconds.
My guess is that the error is related to a weak mobile phone signal.
I never get the problem running a similar version (4.5) of Opera Mini in PC MicroEmulator at the same time.
My setup is:
Opera Mini version: v4.4.39012 Handset: Nokia 222 (single SIM version) OS: S30+ Network: EE (T-Mobile UK) 2G

I'd like to report some fundamental internal architecture problems with Opera Mini. This is NOT related to the rendering, and NOT related to the proxy/rendering servers. This is about how it actually behaves as a web browser application.
It seems that the handling of HREF links and the loading of pages is quite broken. This has been going on for years (I've submitted bug reports) but hasn't been fixed yet. At the moment I would say that it is affecting 50% or more of the links I click on and pages I want to load. If it doesn't affect you as badly as it affects me, please don't say "it's ok for me". I just want to hear how badly it affects other people so we can get an idea of how pervasive this is and encourage the developers to actually fix it. And also please note I am not reporting anything to do with page serving or page rendering.
For reference I'm using opera mini on Android (Z3C) and use the extreme savings mode.
1) Pressing on a link takes me to the wrong page! Yes, it renders something completely different. Often seen with facebook, I press on a link and it takes me to one of the other links on that page.
2) Links stop responding completely. Pressing on a link does absolutely nothing. However holding down on the link and opening in a new tab does work. But once it has got into this state the only solution is to close all tabs, quit browser, and start again, because it never recovers.
3) Pressing on a link goes to a new blank page and the spinner shows it is loading but then loading stops and the page remains blank. This happens to ANY link, it's not a page rendering problem or a particular website problem, ANY page may end up blank. As proof, if I hold down on the link and open it in a new tab then it works fine.
4) Following a link sometimes throws away history. Pressing Back takes you back to where you were two clicks ago and it's impossible to get back the immediately preceding page. Back/Forward actions show that the page has been completely removed from the history.
5) Pressing on a link shows all the indications that it's going to load the page (spinner, etc), but when finished the page has not changed. Sometimes simply pressing the link again will cause it to work (proof that it's not the destination which is the problem). Sometimes twice is not sufficient, sometimes three times, sometimes even four times I have to click the link before it works. (I've never had to click more than four times to get a link to work).
Are there any developers reading who can comment on the fundamental internal architecture issues?
