Hello. I have used a version of Opera or Opera Mini for a long time to view a forum on my phone and it was the best app for doing that. It put Tapatalk to shame and none of the other Android did such a good job. I think the reason was that there was a setting called "single column view" but the problem is not that option seems to be gone and when it comes to viewing my forum, Opera now is just like all the other browsers, not a good experience for viewing forums. I went and found an old version of the app and that worked fine for me but then it started doing a think where you would click on a topic in the forum and it would just sit there and never load. Not sure why that started to happen but it did. Anyway, where is single column view?? Thanks.

opera mini shows "Could not locate remote server" while all other browsers work fine.
Visitor cannot visit http://m.dailynayadiganta.com with Opera Mini. It always says "Could not locate remote server" while all other browsers work fine. It's about one month. Previously it was working fine.
One clue: while visiting site in "extreme data saving" mode, it does not work, but works while data saving mode is High.
30% of visitor of this site come from opera mini. The site is losing its visitors for this problem.
Please help me.

Why Opera Mini Don't Work with Remix & Phoenix OSes?
Is there any reason for that? Can you devs please fix that? Mini is the number 1 missing app on this OSes... :( By the way, Opera Browser doesn't work either....

How to remove Yandex search system from Opera mini?
Hello. After installing Opera Mini, the default search system is Google. But, a few hours later, Opera Mini recognizes that the mobile network belongs to Russian provider and changes the search system to Yandex. I don't like Yandex, I don't need Yandex, I need Google. Please explain how to remove this foisted Yandex from my Opera Mini. Thank you in advance.
P.S. Of course I am aware how to add Google, how to create shortcut to Google on the speed dial, and so on, but it's not about that ))

I cannot get Opera Mini 8 to check Yahoo Mail on my Nokia 5310 anymore
It might be a problem on Yahoo's end (on purpose or by accident), but I can no longer access Yahoo Mail. I can check everything else Yahoo-related (e.g., weather, sports, contacts) but not Yahoo Mail. AFAIK there isn't an adblock software on my phone that I've installed, and while I've had problems with Yahoo Mail before, it's always been temporary and I've never had problem just accessing the URL. I can't even access it via Yahoo.com even though the icon shows that I have two email messages. I can access it from home (where I DO have Adblock software installed) just fine; I'm only have trouble connecting to Yahoo Mail on my Nokia, via either Opera Mini 4.5 or Opera 8. I borrowed my friend's iPhone to access it directly via internet and there is no issue. Can anybody help? Does anybody else have this problem?? Thank you very much for reading and any light you can shed on the situation or a solution, if one exists. Haven't been able to get in touch with Yahoo tech support so if anyone has an email address for Yahoo Mail support it will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Developing offline intranets for Opera Mini
Hey, Can anyone point me to any useful resources for developing offline intranet websites which work well with Opera Mini?
I am concerned that my Opera Mini users will not be able to reach the Opera Transcoding Servers.
Does this cause issues? Can I mark up the website to avoid using the Transcoding Servers?

turn off "top stories"?
I have just had to reset and "up"grade from Opera Mini 7.6 (which worked perfectly) to 9.soemthing, which is unusable.
One of the main problems is the "Top Stories" that blocks the main screen with reposts from offensive tabloid headlines. I don't want any sort of 'top stories' and particularly don't want reposts from vile newspapers.
I also can't find the speed dial, can't find a way to upload bookmarks etc etc, all the usual dreary failure of an unnecessary "up"grade.
It's not even effective mechanically, as any attempt to remove the "recommended" bookmarks clashes with the search engine window.
The unfortunate thing about phones is that you are forced to use the latest edition, unlike on a browser (where I used Opera 12 until recently).

2 day ago I could entered to any site from opera mini 8... but now situation is changed: any site is opennig but when I want to enter http://m.facebook.com , this site don't open and was written : "Unable to connect to the internet.Check your settings"...why is it,may be is it from my IP,and how I am can to correct this? Opera Mini 16 beta 2 for Android

Now, it’s time for another beta.
In this version, we’ve included an option to block ads. If you want to enable the feature, you can do that in the settings under “Savings mode”. This is an experimental feature, so your feedback will help us make the feature better.
Another new addition is a new page-loading animations feature. As you go to a new URL, its page thumbnail or address will pulsate in the webpage area while loading the page.
Lastly, there is a new item in the "+" menu in the address bar. Now you can choose "Add to home screen" to make your favorite page's shortcut on your phone's home screen.

Opera Mini 15 for Android
The Opera Mini for Android team is happy to announce the release of Opera Mini 15.
In this version, we’ve focused on reevaluating the existing features to make them better. In the start page, news is more accessible as we moved the toolbar in the bottom. Another feature we’ve improved is the fast-scrolling buttons. They are now combined with a new page scroller, so you have more controls on scrolling webpages.
Have any of you chosen the high data-savings mode as your prefered browsing mode? If so, there is more good news for you. We have finally included “Video boost” in the high data-savings mode settings. If you want our Opera Mini servers to compress your requested video for better video experiences, turn on the option. For those of you who use Opera Mini mainly on Wi-Fi, but still want to save data, select the “Wi-Fi data savings” option in the high data-savings settings.

Open external links with proper apps
hi guys, I searched for an answer to this on google already but couldnt' find anything (well actually I found a very old post about the same problem, but the suggestion involved turning off off-road mode, that I can't find in opera mobile settings...)
so my problem is that I strongly need to be able to open for example XDA forum links directly with tapatalk, rather than inside opera mini. but the prompt doesn't apear, and all external links are opened directly in opera ;( it seems it is not possible to do that at all in opera mini? any solution?

opera mini not work in my country
because of goverment blocking in my country (iran) opera mini dosent work. after instal opera mini, the first proccess of opera when the red (O) of opera is in compelet, process never full and never load up speed dial screen.only with VPN we can went from first instaling process. instead of opera mini that doesnt load up ,main opera for android load up with no problem.
