Tabs autorefreshing after reselecting them

Hello.

There is one thing that really bothers me. I tried Opera mini Beta, but now I have the same issue.

I open multiple tabs and after I check the first one and switch to the second one, even only after two minutes, it is refreshing the page. It's very annoying. It's the same when I have some tabs opened and switch to Opera mini later. They all refresh so I have to wait a lot. There is no way to avoid it!

I have been using Opera mini for many years and there was not this issue before. But I don't remember when it started. Maybe half a year ago.

I'm using Android 5.1.1

Opera Mini 17 Beta 2 - no focus during qr code scanning.

Hello everyone!

As in the title: When I'm trying to scan qr code in Opera Mini I cannot tap-to-focus, to be honest the qr scanning part is not focusing at all, so I have to maneuver my phone to get it to read QR codes. The camera is ok, I can make it focus in camera app just ok, so it seems to be OM specific problem.

Phone: Huawei Ascend G300 OM v. : the latest, but it started a few weeks ago (or maybe 1-2 months ago, I don't remember).

Opera Mini 16 no uploading file, do nothing instead

Hello, I want to ask, why the new version of opera mini have bug on file upload? the old veraion works fine, I also tried the beta, but no luck, produced same result (17.0). I have open bug report, I hope opera team look into it. I like yout new adblock feature, but please bring back uploading function, I use opera mini as default browser, and I often uploading file using opera mini. thanks before

It’s time for another beta. In Opera Mini 13, we’ve added Opera's signature red color to the address bar. Now, it’s time for the rest of the UI to get it. We’ve renewed the data savings UI, and you will see the Opera red in many different places.

Besides the color change, we’ve added an option to set Opera Mini as default. If you want to set Opera Mini as default browser, go to Settings and choose “Set as default browser...”

opera mini 16 android handling links apps

Hi, I've been using opera mini in android but - when it comes to open links that other apps can handle - it seems that opera doesn't ask if I want to open that link in the app or in the browser (as chrome would do). For example if I open a link of a google maps location, or a quora question, or a wikipedia link from the browser. It doesn't ask for the app just open it in the browser.

Could you please tell me what should I do if I want opera mini to ask me if I want to use the browser or the app? I've tried resetting defaults but doesn't work. Thanks.

Feature Request for Opera Mini

Search Bar : In search bar we can't write any bangla language font by using any phonetic bangla keyboard. But Old opera mini can. Add the system that can write bangla by any phonetic keyboard in search bar. Also we can't manage default search engine. Please add the feature where we can manage our search engine as our choice in the search bar. And bring back separate search bar as old opera mini.

Downloading : Though high mode optimized for large file downloading but we browse in extreme mode all time. So, please fix large file download failed problem in Extreme mode. Fix download resume problem. Add muti threads downloading (minimum 9-12 parts muti thread downloading system per downloading files). Add renaming features while downloading. Upgrade the server which is stands for file downloading.

Browsing : Though Opera Mini said that it can compress upto 90% data. I run a test for 12 different websites. While Opera Mini shows 78% data saving whereas Opera Mini's nearest competitor UC Browser shows 87% data saving. So, Please upgrade the data compressing level in more higher level. Also browsing speed is little bit slow. Upgrade the browsing speed & upgrade the server for speedy browsing.

Other : Opera Mini can't able to skip the ad from adf.ly in extreme mode shorten link while all other browsers can. Also upgrade & optimize the High saving mode for more stability.

[Suggestion]Download in Opera mini

I just installed Opera mini on my LG G2 and I was impressed by the loading speed on my bad internet connection(mobile data).When got home I tried to download an anime episode from kissanime ,but instead of opening window to ask me where to save ,it redirected me to a page with the video only and I could only watch it. I tried other thing , instead of opening the link I press and hold on it and there was no download or save as option like in dolphin/chrome.So I decided to try the Opera Browser , and there when I got redirected to the video page ,on the right side of speaker icon there was download button , also when I hold on the link there are a lot more options ,including "download". So my suggestion is to make the download system (or whatever its called) in Opera Mini same as the Opera Browser. I just prefer the mini because of the adblocker but I want to be able to download like in Browser. P.S. If you don't understand what I'm talking about here is a video showing

RSS reader for iOS

I'm looking for a simple RSS reader to use with ipad/iphone. I don't want it to choose feeds for me or make suggestions, I just want to be able to add my choice of feeds. Then, like the reader in the opera desktop browser I would like it to present me with a list of articles, and let me keep them, or delete individual ones I don't want to keep, not delete everything, or have old feeds fall off the bottom of the page. Something along the lines of the add-on for opera, or like QuiteRSS would be perfect. Does any one have any suggestions, please?

Opera Mini not showing social sharing buttons

I am using the latest version of Opera Mini 16.0.2168. When i am opening this site http://www.whoneedsaniphone.com i am unable to view the social sharing buttons. Thought it was a problem from website's side..but later i opened those sites on google chrome and uc browser both of them are showing the share buttons. can i know the reason why this is happening??

Many of you are browsing web pages in the extreme data-savings mode. This data savings mode has some limitations, but we are trying to improve web user experience.

In this release, we have added "Play" option when you click video files and you can see the video in the browser. Now you don't need to download to see videos.

This is an early experimentation, so your feedback will help us make the feature better.

Wordwrap without function?

Hello, I can't see any difference of activated and not activated word wrap. What ist the problem with this? In the "normal" opera for android it works fine (I know, it's a different system). I've tried several webpages, but the wordwrap did'nt work in opera mini.

Intersitial Ads

Recently I started to use Opera Mini and I liked a lot the data saver but I am having a very annoying problem, and I dont know if is a "bug" or a "feature", when I am browsing with Opera Mini in 3g some annoying interstitial ads appears, they are alaways from my carrier promoting their app store. The ads appear usually when I open a link in a new tab and the only way to continue is to click on a "remind me later", there is never a dismiss button. This is realy annoying and only happens with Opera Mini, so the question is: Is this a partnetship between Opera and my carrier or just my carrier hijacking my connection? And there is a way to get rid of it? Thanks

Web site basic access authentication 401 (session Sign in problem in Opera Mini)

At first take my salam, Some web sites is password protected. I mean 401 authentication. Example: mysites.com and i have set password with my web site directory. Url: mysites.com/test/ Username: test Password: test All other browser is okey. But only Opera Mini problem. If i (Sign in) with my password and save my password in Opera Mini few minutes later Opera Mini again ask to again (Sign In) if i again (Sign in) after few minutes again Opera Mini ask to (Sign in) to continue to view my web site. Other all browser never ask too many times to (Sign in) to continue view web site. It's Opera Mini problem Session timing/may be cookies problem. Long time still this bus not fixed yet. Please check this bug and fix this problem. I don't want to many time (Sign in) in my web site. All other browser never ask too many times to (Sign in) Web site basic access authentication 401. Disable image on Opera Mini iOS

I use Facebook on my Opera mini. I like user interface of Facebook in opera mini using opera turbo mode. Unfortunately, i cannot disable image in that mode. Can u guys tell me how to do it? Please dont tell me to switch to Opera Mini mode because the User interface of facebook is very very very terrible using that mode.

Need received data size in beta version

I think know how many data received are same important as how many data saved.

I can understand designer remove it from O menu to make it simple, but why not keep it in detail page?

Opera mini says "Could not locate remote server" while all other browsers work fine

Hello, I cannot visit http://m.bdcricteam.com with Opera Mini for Android (Opera Mini on iOS works fine). It always says "Could not locate remote server" while all other browsers work fine. Can anyone give me a clue what's wrong and how to solve this?
